Nov. 5th, 2007-Golden, ColoradoBeing among the first to get on board in a new business venture exponentially increases the amount of money an investor will make, but it guarantees nothing to one who is among the first to purchase a business.
Suppose you were a friend of Ray Croc and bought one of the first McDonalds franchises.
“I’ld be rich now!” would be your first thought, right?
But you would only be a fat & wealthy franchisee if you rolled up your sleeves and set about doing all of the things it takes to make any business successful. You had to get a business license, tax resale certificate, obtain a business checking account and line of credit, create vendor accounts and negotiate pricing, shop the store location, negotiate a lease, train employees, install security systems, hire a janitorial service, create ad copy and press releases to announce your opening, and on and on.
Now the genius of Croc was the franchise system itself. He realized most people failed in business because they were not qualified to run a business. He created systems for every part of running a McDonalds and documented it all. He then required all franchisees to attend rigorous training ‘boot camps’ when they purchased one of his businesses.
The results of course were phenomenal, when compared with the success rate of all start up businesses. But it did not guarantee success. There were those who failed, even though they were handed the goose that laid the golden arches.
In the first ever My-Affiliate-Store (MAS) Mastermind Retreat company co-founder
Bruce Saffron started the two day conference with a reminder that, “success is the result of massive action.”
Since the M-A-S business opportunity was launched 6 months ago it has drawn internet business opportunity insiders to it like flies. This is because of the services provided by M-A-S at a bargain price. As in any business “time is money,” and the My-Affiliate-Store business model eliminates thousands of working hours per year.
In a nutshell one who purchases a store will become a member of the MAS network and instantly have access to over 35,000,000 products to put on the shelves of the shop. To maintain access to these products and the millions more that will ultimately be in it is $97 per month.
The difference between this business model and McDonalds, Subway, 7/11 or any other brick-and-mortar business is that there is nothing to buy. My Affiliate Stores have no inventory. Products on the shelves belong to the thousands of vendors in the MAS network who want affiliates to sell them for a commission.
Affiliate marketing is the wild west of retail and advertising. It is the cyberspace world of the internet where overhead is slashed. There is no lease, no inventory, no shipping.
Yet as Saffron said without action purchasing a My Affiliate Store would be fruitless. And that is why the MAS retreats were set up. Like Croc MAS founders Saffron & partner Len Thurmond (at whose home the first retreats are being held) have created a turn-key business.
And like Croc they are instituting training for store owners. Unlike Croc’s McDonalds franchise, even in the beginning, the cost of an MAS store is nominal. Those who attend the retreats are given extensive training in internet marketing sales models and techniques to help assure member success.
“We will have more than four retreats,” said Saffron, “And we are limiting retreat attendance to 10 members each.”
“Those who attend the retreats are charged $3500 and we reimburse attendees airfare,” he said, “All lodging, meals and transportation are covered in the fee.”
Those who attended the first M-A-S.Com Golden Colorado Mastermind learned the power and proper use of Google Adsense and Search Engine Optimization statistical analysis from Nathan Anderson on Saturday. All day Sunday was devoted to Google Adwords in a marathon session with pay-per-click guru Greg Cesar.
The MAS Mastermind speaker presentations were unique as Saffron explains, “Often you go to a seminar or even retreat and you get a small section of what an internet expert or ‘guru’ has to offer. What you get here is concentrated learning, you;re not just getting the beginning of strategy then you have to go buy the rest of the package. You’re getting the whole thing (at the MAS Mastermind Retreats).
“Greg has been speaking all day today. We started at 8:30 in the morning after a great breakfast he still has another three hours to go after dinner and we’ll finish up about 9PM.” Bruce said, “Nathan, also an Adwords wizard, spent five hours yesterday on adsense and search engine optimization.”
