Whilst it is true a small number can in reality do this, in the main it is something that the web designer can only do the very early stages of at best. They are typically capable of getting some of the keywords into the coding but this is such a small, albeit vital part of the process that must occur. Those businesses leaving optimization to their web designer will more often than not be very dissatisfied in the results.
